Bernie Laverick

‘Another Day’ was a huge collective effort showcasing the outstanding talents of some of Hull’s finest musicians. I’m massively proud of their involvement; the love, the respect, and the joyful warmth they gave turned my song sketches into pastoral landscapes. That they have been good friends and acquaintances for most of my adult life makes the story of this album feel like a family affair.

During all that time, in various guises, combinations and line-ups, together we have worked the pubs, the working men's clubs, rock clubs, folk clubs, theatres, weddings, funerals, charity events and demos. We've played in rock bands, folk bands, club bands, original bands, tribute bands, function bands and various duos and trios. That's a lot of shared music; and a lot of shared lives
